Backup list links

I love this plugin and it works perfectly on all the site that I manage, except for one small issue that I only have on one site.
On my other sites I have a list of all the backups, with a button to delete them, and to restore I can click on the link and it does what I need.
On one server I don’t have a list of any of the backups and have to ftp in to get the file name so that I can do a restore if I need to. In my uploads directory there is an htaccess file with

<Files *.php>
deny from all
</Files>

in it. Would that keep the links from being added to the list?
