Backup is taking forever

  • Hello,

    we use the Backup function of the plugin. since 1 month the Backup takes fore ever/doesnt finish.

    I checked for every option seperatley for the backup. The problem is when i check Upload for backup.

    Im new to WP and Plugin. if i could get an advise where to look for en error message would be helpful.

    Also the plugin doesn’t gibe a response. Just the backup animation is running for ever

    To identify any underlying errors, please follow these steps to enable debug error logging on your site:

    1. Open the wp-config.php file located in your site’s root directory.
    2. Add the following code to enable error logging:
      define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
      define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

      Note: If you see define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', false ); already in your file, change “false” to “true.”
    3. After saving these changes, try running the backup again with the “Upload” option checked. This will create an error log file named debug.log in your wp-content folder.
    4. Send us the log file: Once the log file is generated, please download it and attach it in your reply to us at [email protected]. This information will help us pinpoint the exact cause of the issue.

    Once we receive the error log and any additional details, we’ll be able to provide you with a solution promptly.
