    Hello,

I am having a big issue with our website, I was restoring an backup (backup date was 18/10/18 i.e yesterday) this morning, and upon completion, I reloaded my dashboard and all the plugins have been deleted, and now my site is all over the place.

Does anybody know what has happened and more importantly how I can revert it!!

Many thanks in advance for your help,

    Luc

    Hi Luc,

Your backup of your plugins is just a regular zip file. So, if you need to recover manually (e.g. the server had a hiccup whilst restoring in UD), you can just unzip the zip file to your PC, and upload the contents (the folder ‘plugins’) to wp-content/plugins on your site.

    Hi David,

Thankyou for the suggestion, do you know where this zip file might generally be located? How do I go about uploading the contents of the file?

    Kind regards,
    Luc

    Hi Luc,

Where did you send the backup to? Google Drive? Dropbox? If you chose no remote storage destinations, then they are in the webserver in the folder wp-content/updraft.
