Backup Hangs When Running WP-Optimize

    I have recently noticed that the latest version of WP-Optimize seems unable to complete the pre-optimize AWS S3 backup. The backup window opens, the backup starts and then never completes so the optimization does not start.

    A manual backup with UpdraftPlus has no problems, so I’m doing that and then running the WP-Optimize without pre-backup.

    Can anyone help?

    Hi,

    Does the backup never complete, or does it complete but the backup window stays open even when it is completed? If the latter, then this is a known bug in the current release of UpdraftPlus, which is being worked on for the next release.

    I believe this problem is fixed in the current release of UpdraftPlus. Please can you update to it and try again?
