    Updraft is getting stuck on the sending email step after an automatic backup finishes when I update plugins. I have Updraft uploading to Google Drive, and always have. Not all of the files are appearing there when the backup is still showing “sending email” as the last log step. And, since the backup function never shows finished, the updates don’t install. When I click STOP in the Updraft dialog, it says can’t stop the process, it might already have finished.

    Hi,

    Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?
    This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Ok, here’s another weird thing. There is no log from the auto-backup before plugin update that this happened with. The files are in my remote storage, but that time of backup isn’t listed in my Existing Backups list, even after refreshing both local and remote listings. My site did an auto incremental backup later yesterday, which completed fine and is listed.

    This is the second time I’ve experienced this in the last week or so, initiating a manual plugin update, and allowed the auto-update before plugin update to go, but it doesn’t finish.

    Unfortunately, we cannot do this, WordPress allows you to update the comment for a limited time after it is posted but we can never edit any of our users comments
