Hi I followed instructions for this by deleting the appropriate line of code and it made my site come down and locked me out of my WP back end!
Fortunately the site came back after 5 minutes automatically (not sure how)
This is so frustrating. I am not PHP proficient and it scared the life out of me.
As this seems a common error, surely you can devise an easy fix for this.

Can you please provide an easy solution for this which I can implement once my site is back up?

Sorry I don’t have an easier solution then that.

It is really very straight forward, maybe just ignore the line number, just find add_action('admin_notices', 'dbmanager_admin_notices'); in wp-dbmanager.php and delete that line

Please tell me where I find that line as I am not very experienced.
Also would it lock me out if the program thought I was trying to hack it?

Ok I think I see why I get locked out. I have a security plug in installed which I think is protecting any editing and locking me out if it suspects I am a hacker. I get back in after 5 minutes, which is the time I set in the set up.
I have deactivated it but it still locks me out when I try to edit.
