Backup files not readable

    Every time I backup, I get error warnings in my backup summary during the ZipArchive file compression stage. The following four files are always marked as unreadable:
    plugins/index.php, themes/index.php, uploads//index.php, and wpforms/.htacess.cpmh3129

    How can I resolve this problem?

    Hi @intrepider

    It means that these files are unreadable so BackWPUp can’t add them to the backup list, because of the file permission for security reasons.

    You can just ignore these warnings since these files are not that important and can safely be ignored or contact the hoster and tell them to fix the issue so BackWPUp can read and add these files to the backup.

    Thank you! That gives me peace of mind knowing that the files are not important but I will contact the host as well.
