Hi – I still need some help.
My Backup files still disappearing after approx 5 days from the /updraft directory
if i look in the /updraft directory, there is only the new files, “emtptydir” directory, and htaccess file, index.html file, log….txt file and web.config file
    That it…

When i looks for errors in log-files it only shows this.:
    0048.831 (0) Binary mysqldump: error (code: 5)
There were no errors in the uploads, so the ‘resume’ event (1) is being unscheduled

    What is wrong…..????….???

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi,

    Thank you!

The log shows “0042.835 (0) Prune old backups from local store: nothing to do, since the user disabled local deletion and we are using local backups”

I can see that you have set your retention rules and your backups look ok (sometimes if backups are failing, multiple failed backups can accumulate on the server)

Please could you check the following:
Please go to UpdraftPlus > Settings > Show Expert settings, Check the “Delete local backups” checkbox and click the ‘save settings’ button.

    Kind Regards,
    Bryle
