backup failing due to disk quota exceeded error with unlimited space available

    A scheduled backup using BackWPup failed due to an disk quota exceeded error. However, the hosting account has unlimited space and the number of files limit has to been exceeded. I contacted the hosting provider and they confirmed the account has unlimited storage and the number of files limit has not been exceeded. They suggested there may be a plugin limit on the file length that the zip file exceeds. The last backup zip file was 3.3GB in length. Would you inform me if there is a plugin limit on file size?

    Sorry about the delayed response, I would recommend you exclude folder backups-dup-lite folder (contains duplicated website backup from other plugin), also for folders 2015 -> 2021 in uploads folder, I would recommend you to create a separate backup for them since content in these folders mostly no change at all.

    HI! i don’t know i can’t start a new topic so I use this one because is the same problema.

    I tried to do a full backup to FTP, and its random sometime work and sometimes don’t.

    But if its work, I have the same message: ZipArchive::close(): Write error: Disk quota exceeded

    And we have enought space in hosting. por than 4Gb free.
