    Hi,
    I tried backups 4 times and it always fails, keeps stuck at 36% and then says it fails.
    I already reduced the number of rows from 10000 to 1000.

    That is the error message:

    SOMETHING WENT WRONG
    Oops... Seems there was an issue during the backup process.
    Please try again. If the issue persists, please contact our support team.

    Dear @traveljohn ,

    We noticed that the BackupGuard version is not the latest one. Please, update it to 1.6.8.6 (yours is 1.5.8) and run another backup.

    If this one fails as well, you can increase the PHP Max Execution Time from your hosting and see if the backup is successful. The failure can also be connected with the Max Execution Time.
