Backup Error – The backup is being aborted for a repeated failure to progress.

Trying to back up to dropbox (I did authenticate with dropbox again to make sure that wasnt the issue).
The folder is empty on dropbox but is there “updraftplus.com” under “apps”
have plenty of space almost a TB on dropbox free
Changed my split archives from 300mb to 75mb to 25mb made no difference
split archives ever: 25MB

* The backup is being aborted for a repeated failure to progress.I need to back up my website so I can update my theme. I had a new website made based off a theme and it needs updating but they said to back up before I update so I am stuck not being able to update my theme until this back up works.
