Backup emails do not indicate there was an issue with the backup

Hi,
I was just trying to backup my WP install manually before running an upgrade and the Backupwordpress gave me an error message indicating there is a problem with my DB.
Turns out there is an issue indeed and the last DB backups I received over email contain a sql script which is missing most of the tables.
The email however doesn’t mention anything went wrong during the backup. Apparently the error only shows when taking a backup manually, which I hardly ever do.
It would be great if the email would also contain a warning in the subject (for filtering rules) and the error message encountered.
A secondary configurable email address to send error emails to would also be great I think. The backup emails are filtered from my inbox to avoid clutter, but if error messages would arrive on my main email address, I’d see they right away.
