backup and files outside

I made a backup of my site on my comp- zipped- had to remove the original install thru webserver- have reinstalled wp but now in my file manager in the web server, all my original work the php files are outside- treid to restore it form previous, but did not do it right- now i need to figure out what goes whare so i can get the site back up- i am NOT a technical person, so any help in simple laymen terms would be great- i have a shot of the file with irfanview if you need to see what i mean – i am totally lost and do not want to start over with this site- thank you in advance.
