• Hi and Merry Xmas,

I am making use of a single plugin cooked.

This plugin does not have the option to export/import anthing.

Since I am redesigning my site on another domain, is there a possiblity to backup a single plugin with it’s database tables and import it again directly in the database?

There are numerous pluginns for backups but I do not want/have to backup the entire website.

    Thanks

    Roger

  • Check with the plugin authors. Maybe it has an export/import settings functions.

Or, export the original database to create the new site, change the urls with search and replace (oldsite.com >> newsite.com), and then add the plugin to /wp-content/plugins/. It should use the settings stored in the database.

plugin authors do not have that functionality, I checked already of course but thanks for the tip

I’d try the database route. It should work. Good luck!
