• I ran WP Backup v1.1 on WP v4. It created a duplicate folder of the WP folders. See below (the wpdevsite2 is a rename from an earlier test I did. Note wpdevsite folder within the wpdevsite folder). To test I deleted the subfolder wpdevsite and reran WQP Backup. The subfolder was recreated.

    I hope the link works.

Here’s another try for the jpg of the folder directories

I can’t get the link to the directory capture to work.

BUT I ran more tests. Backup works OK. Restore does restore BUT also creates a duplicate WP site folder under the main WP site folder.

This is with Backup v1.1 on WP v4.0

WP site is in a subfolder of public_html. Just backed up and then immediately restored that backup. The subfolder is still duplicated within the WP site on the restore. This is WP 4.0, Backup v1.1.

Author – could you please acknowledge, or not, if this is happening to others or happening in your tests.
