Backslash characters disappear

I’m having trouble with backslash characters disappearing in the text that I put into my tabs. We use tabs for displaying C-code examples that includes backslash characters.

When I type the example code in i need to escape “\\” the backslash character for it to be written to the database. The next time I edit the tab the backslash characters are gone and I need to edit everything again.

Any ideas what it could be ?
