Backslash and apostrophe issues

  • Since my upgrade to 2.2.3, I have issues with apostrophes and backslashes.

    Both my blog title and description have apostrophes in them. Whever I save, a rogue backslash appears. This means that my site looks like this…

    Scribbler\’s Laid A Big Juicy Log

    I\’m aware of the apostophe problem[/blockquote]

    This has only happened since the newest release

    As an update, if I enter my blog title as “Scribbler (Ampersand)(Hash)39;s Laid a…” it renders correctly. I have to do that every time I save my options though, otrherwise the backslash comes back.

    I’m having the same problem. At least there is a temporary fix, thanks.

    Same problem here when I upgraded to 2.2.3. Putting in the html code &#39 also worked for now. Thanks for the suggestion.

    It no longer does this after my upgrade to 2.3, so I’ll mark this as solved for now. Glad I could help with the temporary fixes anyway
