Backorders not offered when all locations out of stock

    Hi,
    I have allowed back orders on the product edit page and allowed it on one of the locations that is linked to that page, but when all stock has been sold, it just says out of stock. What is the fix for this please? I would at the very least show the back order option for the location I have allowed. There’s no add to cart button at all.

    I have to check this case with you, I doubt there is an option on settings page because this is an essential feature and we cannot halt the sales if stock is out. Can you please record a video or use the help tab to discuss it with the developer in details?

    we have the same problem as described above.
    You can see more at https://www.smartathome.at. Especially with the product: https://smartathome.at/shop/zagg-pro-keys-mit-trackpad-fuer-ipad/ – which is in stock. The 10.2” inch is in stock but is also displayed incorrectly. The correct delivery status is only displayed in the shopping cart and in the checkout.

    Furthermore, ALL PRODUCTS WHICH ARE NOT IN STOCK, but the backorder is allowed, cannot be purchased and therefore NO BUTTON is displayed.

    Rollback your version to 1.7.4 that’s before the error of both for not managed stock and back orders going out of stock came about. It is an error that needs to be fixed I cant update until it is.

    Any NEWS for the error? On the version 1.4 the variants are also showing the wrong product status. Thanks in advance!

    @smartathome I am closing this ticket as Mario and me have fixed this issue and tested as well. A new plugin compatibility is pending though but that is not related to this thread.
