Hello @oresundsgruppen,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble! With a fresh installation of WooCommerce, I’m able to set the ‘Allow Backorder’ status on a product no problem – a little more information may help us narrow down what’s wrong.
- On new products, can you initially set the Backorder setting either to ‘Not allowed’ or ‘Allowed’ successfully? Can you change it after the product has been saved in both either case?
- Is this a new problem, or did it just begin? If it just started, did you install a new theme, install any new plugins, or do any major version updates of your plugins?
- Does this happen on any product type, or only certain product types (Simple, variable, etc.)?
- Are there any other settings in WordPress or WooCommerce that you aren’t able to save?
Additionally, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
We look forward to hearing back from you so we can narrow down the issue. Thanks!
