On our website we have a product with a quantity of 1 in stock, and we want the buyer to be able to add more than the quantity available per order.

But Woocommerce limits the quantity to just 1, locking the quantity at that value.

When the product has zero stock and allows orders, then in this case the buyer can add as many as he wants.

How could we allow the buyer to add as many products as he wants to his order, even if there is only one in stock, in a product that accepts orders?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi @gtsantos

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you would like to allow your customers to add more than the available quantity of a product to their order, even if there is only one item in stock, correct?

By default, this is the expected behavior of products that have managed stock quantity. To allow your customers to order more than the stock quantity, please disable Manage stock under Products > Inventory and change the status to In Stock.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thanks.
