Backorder notification not displaying

Hey there,

I have a notification for customers ordering products on backorder.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t display the notice when a product has 1 or more quantity in stock but the customer orders more than the quantity in stock.

It does display the notice only when the product is out of stock and the customer orders it anyway.

Is there a way to use quantity in cart relative to quantity in stock as a condition to the notice?

That would be a great advancement.
