    hello again.

    If stock is 0 but allowed to have back-orders (sell without stock), will the keys be delivered to “waiting” order once added in license manager ? if order is manually placed in “pending” mode and then “completed will the missing keys be sent?

    Also will “manual assign keys ” be added in future version?

    regards

  • Hello @koullis,

    currently there is no automatism that will detect added keys and backorders. However, the new version will at least let you manually add keys to existing orders and resend the license key email.

    I will be adding support for backorders in one of the future updates, I know that you have been asking for this since basically day 1, but I had to prioritize over other tasks. It is coming, but I can’t tell you yet when. I ask for your patience ??

    thanks for your fast reply..i thought i asked it before but wasnt sure.didnt really checked my old posts, only searched and came empty..possibly it was written differently heheh:)

    manual addition will do the trick until other function comes in the future

    thank you for your hard work maintaining this plugin..waiting for new update

    regards

    @koullis,

    thank you very much for your kind words ??

    I am putting the finishing touches on everything. The new version should drop on 01.09.2019 (in 6 days, at the time of writing this).

    Also something i noticed missing and could be added is “search”. will be added also? maybe search for a key or order number?

    @koullis,

    Search will be added, the development and testing is already done. You will be able to search by complete license key only.

    That means, if you’re searching for the license key FOO-FIGHTERS-THE-PRETENDER you will have to type in the whole license key, i.e. FOO-FIGHTERS will not find the key.

    This is because the license keys are stored in two ways in the database: encrypted and hashed. It is impossible to search by the encrypted license key, as the encrypted can be different with every encryption. Therefore it is only possible to search by hash, and only the complete license key will result in the exact hash in the database.

    Thank you for the update.

    Something i noticed is the “status” of new key, i think it would be better if the default was “active” instead of “sold” or be in alphabetical order

    Also about search is it possible to “search” by order number also? to find the assigned key?

    regards

    Hello @koullis,

    I have already noticed the status thing, a bit too late though but I will fix it in the next smaller update.

    As for searching for Orders, you also have the order filter. Does this work for you?

    oh yes didnt notice that it showed all orders with keys when clicked. but if orders are many, wouldn’t be better to be able to search by order number?

    but

    Also in the above list noticed that order id example is 1210 then 1214 and next 1154 and again 1225 is is possible to be in correct order?

    maybe can help to have it in correct order and find it easier

    @koullis,

    You’re right, it is not really that good as it is now.

    I’m thinking of the same dropdown that is shown when adding/editing license keys. Take a look:

    What do you think?

    Thread Starter koullis

    (@koullis)

    yes it can work..if its “easy” to implement it an not much work you can test it..for filter or the search bar?

    @koullis,

    Definitely for the Order/Product filter. For the search bar, I could add the option to search for license keys by order and/or product ID. That would make it all a lot more usable I think.

    Would that work for you?

    Thread Starter koullis

    (@koullis)

    yes i agree it could be more usable to search by order also

    @koullis

    OK then, I’m adding it to my backlog and it will be available in the 2.1.0 release. ??
