Backing up wp-config.php file residing on the upper level folder

    You can change the default backup path by defining a constant in wp-config
    . You can find a list of the constants used by BackUpWordPress on the Manage BackUps Page via the Help link (top right of the page).
    So you could set it one level up from your install

    I’ve added this line to my wp-config.php.

    define('HMBKP_ROOT', dirname(ABSPATH));
