Backing Up Website, best to to do it

  • Hi everyone, I searched the forium and theres heeps of information some saying dont use any plugins so now im comfused.

    What the best and easiest way to back up your website and is there a suitable plugin you have used and tested.

  • If you are backing up your entire site then I would recommend and FTP client to download all of the files and phpmyadmin for the databases. you might also be able to get your host to create a zip file for you to save a little bit of download time. If you are just interested in backing up a wordpress install then you could always use search through these plugins to do the job.
