• I would LOVE to be able to backup just custom menus – but from what I can tell that just doesn’t exist. I’ve mucked around in the SQL to see what’s changed, and where, but can’t seem to nail that down either.

Does anyone have a suggestion for this outside of just backing up an entire database? I’m working on a site where the current site is updated dozens of times a day, and to integrate all of that into a dev and staging environment and THEN re-build a (large) custom menu setup is rather unacceptable.

    Anyone?

I would also like to know.

I’ve found that these menus are not removed when switching themes, and I would like the ability to copy a menu from one blog to another. Of course you run into issues with post ids being different, but, the page titles will likely be the same if you’ve copied the database.
