Hello, I’ll like to know if anyone has used a video background on a container block. We have use one on a client’s website but the video only runs on Safari browsers (both desktop and mobile).

We have discovered that the tag used for the container background is an img. So videos on a img tag are not supported, but only on Safari with Safari Technology Preview. So our video runs only on Safari ??

Any workaround for using videos in the background of the container block?
    Thank you.

    Hey Daniel,

Thanks for reaching out! Currently, there’s no known workaround to get a video in the background of a Container block. That’s a great idea though! I’ll raise a ticket in our backlog.

    Thanks!

@mkcardenas maybe replace the tag rendered in the frontend.

For example, if a video is selected and use a HTML5 video tag and if it’s an image use an img tag as you do now.

Do you have this plugin on GitHub for me to open an issue?

    Thank you.
