• I have set the background of the top section of my home page to be a (self-hosted) video. I want this video to loop however it just plays to the end and sits on the last frame (i.e no looping). I cannot see any settings to force looping, just the “play once” option, which is switched off.

I have tested on Safari, Chrome and Firefox and all experience the same.

How do I force my background video to loop? I do not want to host the video on youtube or vimea to get this to work.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    That is not a solution.

Specifically, in the Section widget on the top of my page I have set the Background resource to be a video (ie. Video plays under other page features). I want this video to loop. By default it should, but it isn’t.

    Hi,

Some web browsers, including Google Chrome, may support the loop feature if the audio is muted. Even if your video contains no audio, you keep needing to enable the Mute option to make it autoplay on Google Chrome and some browsers.

Please try that and let us know if it makes a difference.

There is no audio in the video and no option to mute video in the editor.

Further checking reveals that looping is occurring on Chrome on Windows but not on any Mac browsers. Appears to be a Mac issue.

    Hi,
    Thank you for the reply.

As this is a browser issue we do not have a way to fully assist with it.

You can try and contact support for this specific browser if the is such a thing.
We are aware of issues across browsers that may not work and try to fix and improve our system so it won’t happen.
