    (Sorry, no link, site isn’t public yet).

    My Youtube background video doesn’t autoplay on mobile, and that’s not a huge problem, except there’s a big play button in the middle of the video that can’t be clicked but is very visible.

    Is it possible to (by default, ideally, since autoplay and muting are both turned on) to have the video autoplay?

    Failing that, is there a workaround? (Maybe a fallback image, though I don’t see where I’d add that or perhaps local video would fare better?)

    I should note (because this does make a difference): I’m on iOS and am not on low power mode.

    Any word, Dmytro? Local video sot of works but makes the page load quite slowly. I’d like it to work with Youtube, but it needs to at least be able to use a fallback image on mobile. If youtube doesn’t support this natively, then you could still use the control, and just hide the youtube preview on mobile in favor of an image.
