Background posting?

    There seems to be people communicating with each other through our WP site. They appear as “comments” (pending approval) but discussions going on. Would you believe something like 1275 “pending comments?”

    What’s going on, and how to I stop it? LOL. No one has the time to go through this nonsense one at a time. I’m looking for pending comments to the articles on the blog, and I find page after page of this stuff.
