  • Start by sorting out the markup errors. Then move onto the CSS errors.

If you continue to have problems with IE, consider conditional comment CSS

    Petra,

As esmi pointed out, there are quite a few markup/HTML errors on your homepage. IE is simply a lot more picky about markup than other browsers are.

Looking at the validation link esmi shared, it appears that a social sharing plugin may be responsible. I would recommend disabling any possible offending plugins until the page renders correctly. Once you’ve identified which plugin is responsible, you should delete it and find a replacement.

Thank you, esmi. As a rank beginner, I have no idea where I’d even start sorting out the markup and CSS errors, though I’d like to learn.

Veraxus, I’ll start by disabling the plug-in and see if that helps. Perhaps one day I can “graduate” to markup and CSS errors. ??

    Thanks for your patience!
