Background not showing

  • I’m hoping someone can help with this problem. I just can’t find a solution.

    I am putting a background on the pages using the body tag in style.css

    body {
	line-height: 1;
	background: #FFFFFF url(../images/ac24pagebg.png) top center repeat-x;
}

    The problem is, its not showing at all on the page.
    I have tried everything including using the wordpress background command but it’s still not showing.

    Can anyone help with this?
