    Hello,

in the cms-section of my website (https://www.iconix-design.nl/cms/) i am testing some themes for my clients.
After updating to WP 3.7.1 and updating Background Manager to 1.2.5.2 the plugin doesn’t work properly anymore.
(I have been very happy with the plugin till yesterday. Thank you Myatu).
I have tried to change settings over and over again, but without any result.
The pages to which i had added a background before updating, will keep it’s background.
i cannot change it. When i choose a different background from image sets in the page editor, i can see the changes properly when clicking on ‘Page Preview’. After updating page changes however, it goes back to former background image.

    Thanks, Walter

    Hello,

How has the background Image Set been selected – ie., is it the default image set or is it an override based on page, post, category or tag?

I am currently seeing the background “background-perforaties-11.png” for the main page. Is this not the intended background?

    Hello and thanks for response.
On the setting page i have set “background-perforaties-11.png” as the default background-image. (i don’t use category nor tag). The problem after updating WP en BGM is, that it is impossible to override this on page level. On the contact-page for instance, the visible background is “background-te-huur-1.jpg”. This is inherited from settings on page level BEFORE i updated WP en BGM. I can’t get rid of them now on page level. It’s impossible to chose a different background in page editor. This problem is the same for all pages. My English is not quite elaborated, so i hope it’s clear what my point is.

    Hmm, that is odd.

For the page in question (the “Contact” page), select the “Screen Options” tab in the upper-right corner and select “Custom Fields”. You should be able to delete “myatu_bgm_active_gallery” and then update the page, which would remove an existing override.

This should also allow you to re-add / change the background override again. If you cannot delete that “myatu_bgm_active_gallery” custom field, then it would mean something else is interfering with it (as this is a WordPress feature).
