• I updated to the new Sliding Door theme when WordPress 4.4 came out, and now the background image on my website is showing up as the foreground on Android devices. The site renders fine on my iPhone. How do I fix this?

And now I have people saying it isn’t coming up correctly on their iPhones, even though it does come up correctly on mine.

I’m not sure about the android problem, but there is a problem with the sliding door menu showing on my iPhone. It seems to be a problem with your site because other sites using the sliding door theme render fine on my iPhone.

It may be a plug-in you are using, if you disable some plug-ins does it work?

Have you customised any of the files , maybe there is a mistake somewhere.

Right now I have VERY few plug-ins running on the page…just a plug-in for Mail Chimp, a plug-in to do Drop Box back ups, and a plug-in to filter spam.

The site was rendering fine before the recent changes needed to be made for Word Press 4.4. We haven’t done customization of files. I really have no idea why it is doing this. Over 90% of my target market accesses my website from mobile devices, so it’s a BIG problem for me.

I’ve only looked at Sliding Door websites that have solid or minimally textured backgrounds that run behind their text, and don’t use the white center panel. Can you point me to some sites using the sliding door theme that use the white center panel that are rendering correctly on mobile devices?

I see what you mean about the backgrounds, has anyone worked out what’s causing this?

No. I really don’t know what to even begin looking for.

This changed when I did the update in the past couple of weeks. Prior to that, my website displayed fine on mobile devices.
