Hello! Thanks for the excellent plugin.

I’m using Elementor Page Builder (version 1.50), but have also had the same problem using earlier versions of Elementor. I’m developing locally on WAMP (PHP v.7.0.10), and using Siteground as my live host (also PHP 7). Whenever I export a site to a file from localhost, then import it to an online server, everything works fine, except all background images are missing when the site goes online.

The background images will be intact in the media library and the correct live URL will be listed in the media library. However, if I check the WP main css editor, I find the old url of the localhost, which causes the image display to fail. If I inspect the page of the online site where there is a background image that was placed with Elementor page builder (for example, a slider background image), I also find the url containing “localhost” instead of the new and correct URL.

Here is a copy and paste of a background image I just inspected that was missing on the live URL:
    “background-image: url(https://localhost/bp2/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/MMM713x400.jpg”

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been manually replacing the background images in the CSS and Elementor as a work around.

I did try the “find and replace” feature during the export, but this did not solve the problem.

Update: I just went into the main CSS and did a find and replace in my text editor manaully, and that fixed those background images.

The only remaining broken images were in an Elementor “Slider” that makes use of background images. From the WP dashboard, I selected the page that had the slider, and then “Edit with Elementor” button. When I was taken to the Elementor editor’s view of the page, the background images showed up correctly in the slider (the same images did not appear on the published site). I clicked “Save” to publish the page, and navigated to the front side of the website and the now images appeared correctly! I thought these details might help in troubleshooting.
