As long as I used the standard background image everything was fine. Then I introduced random background images. The background image is loaded but at the end of the loading phase the picture is shifting down for estimated 30px. It seems to me that it happens while using wp_footer(), but I am not sure. I could see this behaviour in Chrome, Edge and Opera. I’m not sure but it seems to me that the newest version of Firefox works fine.

This malfunction was already addressed by other posts. Question to the devellopers: Do you work on this topic? What is the reason for this behaviour?

The effect can be seen on this page: huppenbroich.de/Testen/
For demonstration I used a brand new installation of Oblique!

    Hi,

It’s working fine on my side. Could you post screenshots so I could check? Thank you. ??

The shifting down does not happen viewing the first time. If you refresh the post or go to another page/post you will clearly see it.

The first show up of the post/page is okay. If you refresh the post/page or go to another post/page you will clearly see the shift. Don’t use Firefox – it working there on the latest version.

    Hi,

I’m still not able to understand/reproduce. Would it be possible for you to do a screenrecording and point to the issue?
