Hi guys – hope someone can help – I am by no means an expert user, pretty basic knowledge and occasional user but I have built this site over the past couple of years and am pretty happy with it.

the theme is called Rock n Rolla

I have a real niggling problem with the background image though – if you test the site on a laptop using Chrome you will see the whole image of the guitarist in the background – but test it on an iphone or ipad and the image size is not correct and all you see is a little bit of the blue sky.

I have trawled the internet looking for a solution but have drawn a blank – can anyone please help me?

    Thanks ??

Hi – thanks for reading – yes I have but it’s not a well used forum – not likely to get a lot of traffic.

If you don’t have focal control in the dashboard then I can tell you with great certainty that you’ll never achieve the guitarist’s head in a certain position across all devices and browsers.

thanks for replying Andrew – I don’t have that in my dashboard, I have never heard of it – is it a plugin? I actually think it’s more to do with image sizing – because the ios seems to use a huge version of the background image rather than sizing it to fit the screen.

actually – although much better its still not perfect – it squashes the image on ipad when in portrait mode – looks fine in landscape
