Background image not updating

I’m seeing green and purple circles, did you change them from pink or are they now supposed to be pink?

Oh that’s good! They’re supposed to be green and purple. I even cleared my cache and still don’t see the update. I’ll have to try again. Thanks for letting me know!

I looked at it on my phone and they’re still pink! I’m so confused.

What browser are you using?

Also, make sure to clear any WordPress cache plugin you might have installed

I had my cache plugin disabled but I deleted it and now I see the green and purple. I was having issues with it earlier, too, not showing my header. I checked it on two browsers, Chrome and Safari, then on Safari on my iPhone.

It sounds like your original problem is fixed. Was there another questions you had?

It seems the problem has returned after I had to uninstall and reinstall my theme/child theme. I took the same steps in uploading a new background to the server so I’m not sure what’s causing it this time.

It has returned on my screens as well. Did you make sure to upload the new image? Is it the same cache plugin?

Ok I deleted the cache plugin I was using. I’m still seeing pink after clearing my browser’s cache. Any changes on your end?

I double checked and I have the correct image uploaded.

I think there may be a problem with the image. Are there two background.gif images? Also, make sure to check the spelling

Ok I checked, there are two background.gif images. One is in the wp-content images folder (/wp-content/themes/adelle/images) and the other is under wp-admin (/wp-admin/images). Is that a problem having two? They’re identical images, spelling is good.

Maybe the problem is that it’s not changed in the “Customize” section. Try going to your site and go to “customize > background image”, upload your green and purple circles there.

Ah it worked! I still don’t know why it wouldn’t show up but hey, this works just fine ??
