background image not appearing

    Hi, I uploaded a custom background image to my site https://www.makedomendmag.com, through a plugin named “custom background”. I am using”desk mess 1.4″ as a theme, but changed the wooden desk background.

    I did not change the CSS – I do not know where I would change it? On Mozilla Firefox and Safari the background shows fine but apparently on IE and some other screens it does not show up, so does that mean i have to change the CSS stylesheet?

    Does the .jpg image I used for the new background have to be converted to a URL? I do not know how to do this!

    Hi, I see the Teal_Gold_Damask background in IE7 and in Firefox3.6.
    and it is actually a .png , not a .jpg

    If the problem persists in other browsers, try to get rid of some errors (css and xhtml): https://www.xhtml-css.com/
