    Hi @hellblauervogel !

Twenty Twenty Four is a Block theme, which means that the layout is controlled by your layout in the Site Editor.

From the icon to the top of the screenshots you shared, it is an edit to the pages, but this may not change the design in the page’s final layout if the page is being styled by the template in the Site Editor.

For editing elements of your page’s design, you’ll want to do that in the Site Editor.

The guides linked below should be helpful in that regard.

This one details how to access the Site Editor:

This one details which templates style which areas of your site, by default:

    Hope this helps!

    Dear Jan,

yes I know that TT4 is a block theme. I tried to change the template too. But nevertheless I do not see the background in the final view then. I do see it in the preview. Therefore I do not know why this is happening and where I can do the change, so that the background is seen.

Let me know in case you need some more details on my problem.

Thank you in advance and BR

    Hi @hellblauervogel

If you’re trying to set a background image for just one page, you could check the template that that page is using and review if the page-specific template is properly configured or if you have any custom block styles or CSS code that may be affecting the background image.

From what I can tell though, it looks like you may have figured it out ?
