    I’m in the process of creating a new site. I’m using the Flash Theme with Flash Food V2 demo import. My problems are as follows: On the home page:
    1. Unable to get the Logo to show up.
    2. I have an image the same size as the demo (1920px X 1000px) that appears to be larger than the screen. I’ve scaled down the image to 75% and centered it but I’d like to be able to use the original size.
    Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Best,

    Al

  • Hey,

    We inspected your site and it seems there are two images right now in the logo section. Could you remove the default logo, and try uploading your’s again? Also, for the second issue if you have added any additional CSS then try reversing it to its original layout and see if this fixes your image problem? If there are issue then we shall try different approach without affecting other design. Do feel free to ask if the issue still remains.

    Good Day,
    Best Regards.

    Thank you for your prompt reply. Removed the two images as instructed and reloaded the logo. No change

    There is no CSS added, If I use the original image it works fine. But when I use my image which is exactly the same size, then it does not work.

    Both issues still remain. Let me know what else can be done to correct the issue.

    Best,

    Al

    Use the same logo for both transparent and solid and now it shows on the home page. Not sure if that is the right way but it seems to work. On the second issue the image now shows correctly but since the background and the menu are both the same color only the active menu item shows. How can I change the menu text color?

    Hey,

    For menu item color you may go to your?Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
    Add this to the Additional CSS:

    .transparent #site-navigation ul li a {
        color: black!important;
    }

    To see the recommend size of images used in flash theme here’s the documentation: https://docs.themegrill.com/flash/
    We hope you will find this helpful. Also, your site looks amazing.

    Good Day,
