    Hi,

I’m maybe interested in your premium plugin but I have a background feature related question : how does it work ? I’m asking because your demo site doesn’t seem to use this feature. And because this is a premium feature, I probably can’t test it on my own with the free version.

Let me explain further why I wish more details on this feature :

    • I’m in the case where my recent smartphone (Poco X6 PRO) isn’t in the compatibility list of supported devices for the Google Play Services for AR
    • As a solution, I expected to find a way to add a static photo as a replacement for the AR feature which is not available for my device
    • By doing so, after the upload of a background image, I should then be able to place the 3D Model in it in order to preview how it will look in my installation

Can your plugin manage a such scenario ? Because in my future marketplace, several guests can be in the same situation as me with an incompatible device for AR, and the goal is then to provide an alternate system to render an object in a specific context.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Regards.

    Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry. I have added an example of a model with a Skybox/Background image to the site which you can preview at https://augmentedrealityplugins.com/support/#skybox

The Skybox images are typically best with a 360 degree HDR image. You will see the model is placed in the middle and the background rotates around the model. The Model Viewer doesn’t allow you to move the model per se within the background image.

I would be happy to offer you a 1 month free trial to test it our for yourself. If you email me directly at [email protected] I will send you the coupon code for the free trial.
