• Hi.

I’m pretty new to CSS, and I’m at a complete loss as to what’s causing this problem… I posted a relatively long post to my main page, and now the background or containers(?) don’t continue to the bottom of the page and the footer info has now moved below the sidebar.

My site is based off the theme Coffee Cup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!

  • I’d start here:
    https://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//www.outofpicture.com/

Post back if after validation the problem persists.

So I fixed a few things, got rid of a javascript and replaced it a rotating image script recommended by WordPress. That’s all fine, but my problem still persists. There are still some (seemingly minor) errors, but they seem to be generated mostly by wordpress itself in the code create when adding a post!

I think it’s something more related to the page container or template or something. It’s as if the background is set to a fixed height and doesn’t just continue down to the bottom of the window.

The weird thing is, when I’m previewing my long post with all the photos, the page looks fine.

    Sort of figured it out.

I don’t know where they came from, but there were duplicate alignment tags scattered throughout the most recent post. That was apparently freaking out the page layout.
