background cut of on all but Home page

i am adapting the standard twenty theme (to learn with) and have added a series of different page templates on different pages.

i have designated the home page as being static etc

by following this URL – https://bhhwparishcouncil.org.uk/ you will see the grey background stipulated in the style.css as the Wrapper DIV; it does what i would expect..

Then the following URL – https://bhhwparishcouncil.org.uk/test/ shows the Wrapper DIV is cut short just below the menu level..

Both pages use the same page and sidebar template but exhibit this difference which i cannot track down the cause of.. i have checked that all my div’s are closed etc..
