    Hi There,

I need urgent help. I added the credits to the image, but now a white frame surrounds the image and the credits are written in yellow. It looks ugly and the yellow writing can’t be read on the white background.

How can I change the white background to black?

    Thanks

Are you actually using the Media Credit plugin, @headline8? From the source of your web page, it does not look that way.

Thanks for the question. Yes I do use the Media Credit. At least it is installed and active. Also I added the credits in the “credit” form which was not there before I installed the Media Credit plug in. So it really looks that the Media Credit is creating the credits.
Please only have a look at the picture where the guy is cleaning the Mandarin Oriental sign. That is the only image I entered the credits yet. I first have to solve the frame issue before I multiply the credits.

    Does this help you?

@headline8: Have you customized the plugin output by filtering the shortcode or including the API functions directly in your templates? The “credit” appears to be simply a caption set for that image and not generated by Media credit. (The yellow text color is inherited from your theme’s stylesheet.)

Can you please post a screenshot from the post editor (backend) for this post (scrolled to the position of the image in question, of course)?

@pepe Yes you are absolutely right! I added the credits through the media library at the field “credit”. So I thought it was done.

But when I edited the image through the post editor, I saw that the frame credit was empty, despite it was filled out through the media library. But therefore the frame caption was including the information of the credit field of the media library. So I copy past this information and now it works.

It also looks cool now. Thanks a lot!!!!!

It looks like the credit info got put into the wrong field in the media library by accident, but I’m glad the issue has been resolved. If you like the plugin, it would be great if you could provide a short review!
