Background Color of text area

  • Hi, New to mail poet and the programme is great and getting on with it ok except for an issue with the text box option. How do you change the color of the background in a text box. I see the change of color option but cannot see the change background option. Please advise if possible thanx

    You should be able to achieve it by taking these steps:

    1) adding a new layout block (e.g. one, two or three column layout),
    2) changing its background color, which can be done in layout block’s settings
    3) and then adding your desired text block into the newly created layout block.

    All text blocks have transparent background color, so they should gain the background color of the layout blocks they are in.
