Background / Blog Background / replicate website

  • I am trying to replicate the look of my website on my wordpress blog. My website = https://www.justaskmatt.ca

    I am a newbie to WordPress … I have read the forums and have changed my background on the stylesheet. However it seems to be all or nothing. i.e. all grey or all white. Not grey background with a white background on my blog text area (similar to my website)

    Also, I am trying to get my navigation bar to be replicated on my blog but have had little success.

    Please let me know if you have done this in the past and what you changed to make this work.

    To give you the brief answer: you need to make a theme that looks exactly lik your site.
    The longer version – you need to go through the Codex and learn how to develop a theme > Theme_Development
