• My backend does not work with some browsers (FireFox 52.0, Google Chrome 57.0.2987.98, and Internet Explorer 11.0.96) it works fortunately with FireFox ESR 52. The frontend works perfectly!
The symptoms are: TinyMCE shows a white box but the text of the posts is inside the box because I can select the text with Ctrl A. The buttons to switch from ?Visual“ to ?Text“, to edit the permalink, to add a media file, and to change the image of the posts do not work. Moreover the media library lost most functions.
I am using WordPress version 4.7.3, a child theme of Twenty Sixteen, and 11 plugins all up to date.
    So far I have:
disabled the plugins (and renamed the path /wp-content/plugins) = no success
switched on the debug mode of WordPress and watched the warnings (by the way I could fix some errors in my own code) = no success
changed the theme to Twenty Sixteen = no success
Can somebody give me advise? I would be very happy about it! Thank you!
