Backend using Fullsize Image for administration – How to change?

Hey,
in the backend the download monitor is using the full-size images for the small 38x38px box to manage all downloads. Thats crazy wenn you have more then 20 downloads per page and any image is bigger then 2 MB!
Where can i change the used image for the admin interface?
