• Hey there!

I’ve been wanting to change some of the backend translations in WooCommerce, since the language file in my language (Danish) is pretty bad.

However, I can’t find most of the backend translations, particularly the headlines for the boxes in the order details. ‘Order notes’ and similar.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

    Any ideas please?

As far as I can understand from the
    https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/woocommerce/
    list,
Danish language pack is not completed yet but mostly translated as.

    DANISH (DENMARK): 94%
    216 STRINGS TO TRANSLATE

Maybe you have an old one installed, maybe you just need to update it.
Otherwise you can change every translatable-items as you wish.

Thanks! I’m pretty sure I have the latest language pack. The main problem is that I can’t find the strings for the headlines of the backend boxes in either my language or the template ??

All the translatable strings must be in the translation packs,

    woocommerce-da_DK.po
    woocommerce-admin-da_DK.po

even if they are not translated yet!

Basically the English translation is the default one,
so the English part is the first part, the second part will be your language; blank if not translated yet.

Which method are you using for localization/translating Woocommerce?
PoEdit or a WP-localization plugin such as CodestylingLocalization ?

There is a little modification needed for the fil-paths described in the WooDocs:
    https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

Thanks! I didn’t know there was an admin file as well. My Loco Translate doesn’t find this. I have managed to edit it manually, though. Thanks for your help.
