Backend shows proper author, frontend does not.

  • Something weird just happened to my blog.

    It seems like the front-end is not properly showing the authors of a couple of posts (I have guest authors now and then) but the back-end shows them as the post author just fine. The problem is not theme related because other themes are showing the same thing. The weird part is one minute the front-end was showing the proper authors but the next minute it was not (as far as I can tell, the change happened after I installed Visual Recent Posts – I have since uninstalled and deleted the plugin but problem still there).

    Any idea what is up?

    Just to clarify, this is only only happening to some posts by guest authors. Other posts are not affected this by for some reason.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    EDIT: It looks like the posts affected are the ones that display me as the author when I disable Co-Authors Plus. In other words, with Co-Authors Plus, the posts show their proper authors at the backend, but with Co-Authors Plus disabled the posts show me as their authors.
